Regulation of Gout With Simple Food Items

Gout involves an intense inflammation caused by accumulation of uric acid crystals in the joints, mainly in the feet bones. It is prevalent in men and older women who experienced excruciating pain.

Only few people have a knowledge that having purines of animal product increases the probability of recurring attacks of gout almost by five times. Also, heavy alcohol is another reason for this disease. Thus, it is necessary to avoid meats, fish, seafood, organs, sugar and avoid alcohols, beers. Tea is another food item responsible for gout. Tea toxic substance does not get expelled from the body and form uric acid buildup causing gout and arthritis. So, it is better to omit your daily cup of tea.

Prednisone, Cortisone and NSAIDs are the standard medicines for gout treatment but, if used in continuation for longer period of time, it causes various serious side effects. However, there are certain food items are available which adressed this deleterious condition and out of them most profitable is cherry. Having 45 cherries per day for a month is good to reduce chronic inflammatory disease signicantly.

An investigation by East Lansing's Michigan State University recommends that in cherries, anthocyanins are present which reduce the inflammation 10 times stronger than aspirin and ibuprofen. Cherries have an ability to low down the levels of uric acid in the body. Within five hours of consuming a big bowl of cherries, significant improvement can be noticed. Besides, antioxidants escalates in the blood as vitamin C levels begin to rise.

Fruits like strawberries, grapes and kiwi are not significant as cherry in the reduction of uric acid levels. Drugs like allopurinol whic is widely used for uric acid reduction but it have serious side-effects i.e. Stevens-Johnson syndrome in this skin gets separated from the body.

Coriander leaves is also good for gout. Properly wash and clean the bunch and boil it for 5-6 minutes in a glass of water. then drink this mixture for about a month and it is very effective for gout and for kidney patients as well. Another excellent remedy is to have an apple cider vinegar's two to three tablespoons with amalgamation of aluminium-free baking soda (half a teaspoon) three times a day, about half an hour before every meal, effective to treat gout.
